@SW_Help All trains to London are delayed. We have all changed to return to Farnham from Byfleet. The train back to Guildford is running 5 minutes late - is it possible to hold the Guildford to Farnham train for a few minutes for all the connecting passengers??
@Hertz Final DM confirms there is no customer services telephone number in the UK. So I will have to email and wait to see how long they take to consider my charge for 4,300 miles driven allegedly at over 500 mph … clocks ticking!
@Hertz I have just been charged £919.81 for driving 4533 miles in a 9 hr rental - over 500mph! Followed up with an email saying the rear windscreen wiper is missing - having signed the car in as “all OK”. And to top this there is no customer service number to speak to a human!
@SW_Help I was on the 16:27 Waterloo to Strawberry Hill and left a suit carrier on the bag rails. I jumped off at CJ but the guard wouldn’t open the door to let me get it! The train is due in at 17:08. Is someone able to check??!!
@AvantiWestCoast Just boarded the 10:49 Carlisle to Euston - seat reservations are all double booked after an earlier cancellation. And there are additional stops scheduled to when I booked - which means the train is due in 26 minutes later and I will not make my 15:00 meeting.
No response to this or my DM message. Got through on the 9th attempt on the phone 24. Had to rearrange to fly from Edinburgh as only option offered was to bring forward the flight 9 hours! I suspect getting BA to fund the cost of getting to Edinburgh will be the next battle.
@British_Airways@britishairways flight cancelled at a week’s notice - and then no ability to speak to someone on the phone - line keeps going dead. dreadful service from the nation’s alleged “flag carrier” airline. cannot amend the flight online either. what can I do?
Automated response to my DM about my frustration about a cancelled flight: “plans can change in an instant”. They didn’t change - you cancelled my flight!
@British_Airways I have a domestic flight tomorrow but have tested positive and need to cancel. “Unable to change or cancel online” and on 08004930787 the line just goes dead! How can I progress the change?? HELP!
@SW_Help@SW_Help one week on and the communication remains at zero! After stating last week was a week’s trial - last night the 06:58 was scheduled. By this morning it had moved to 06:54! Please communicate with your customers!
@SW_Help Is this really the right forum to tell people that their morning commuter train is leaving 3 minutes early - while the timetable on the website remains unchanged. No advance mention on the same train last week - and no mention of the “trial” this am on any of the guards chats!
@SW_Help The 10:00 from Waterloo to Bournemouth is now running late and we are due to meet the 10:31 from Woking to Farnham as there are no direct trains from Waterloo. Is there any chance of holding the Farnham train for a minute or so. There’s only one train an hour!
@British_Airways This standard response doesn’t really wash! Having had no response by yesterday I resorted to going back to the airport and found my bags - the office had no record of our list bags. The online link still shows them as “locating bag”.
@British_Airways I haven’t resorted to teeeting to try and get any response before .. but no luggage came off our flight to Corfu yesterday and we have had no communication since 1 email and 28 minutes on the phone to Exec brought nothing. Local rep doesn’t answer phone. HELP?
@British_Airways still no communication. Had to resort to going back to the airport. Found our bags but no reference at the airport of our lost bags. The system is not fit for purpose.
