You wouldn’t feed your cat dog food, would you?

Yet many companies still treat AI like traditional IT. That’s a mistake.

👉 IT is predictable, obedient, and rules-based.
👉 AI is creative, moody, and requires coaxing.

𝗜𝗧 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗼𝗴. 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝘁.

Here’s how to avoid a strategic furball:
• 𝗜𝗧 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. If it doesn’t follow rules, it fails.
• 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀. If it follows rules too closely, it underwhelms.
• 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗜𝗢 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗧. But managing AI? That’s a different beast.
• 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵. Cats need space. The same goes for your AI agents.

When you task AI like you do IT - rigid briefs, narrow specs, low trust - you get mediocre results. But when you treat AI like a sparring partner, not a subordinate, you unlock its power.

I call this “mode switching” - moving from Assistant to Oracle, from Analyst to Peer.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲? Thinking GenAI is a tool to control, rather than a mind to collaborate with.

✅ Want to scale GenAI? Start by retraining your 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴. Especially your managers.
