The “do it yourself” nature of the growing “Maker Movement” has made it a conduit to that future for millions
of girls and women who have been traditionally unrepresented in STEM fields. #3Dprinting#IWD2021
We #ChoosetoChallenge the gender gap in #STEM everyday. We know we must tap into the creativity, energy, and potential of girls and young women if the world intends to meet the needs of our economic future #IWD2021
According to @UNESCO, girls enrollment is particularly low in #ICT (3%), natural science, math & statistics (5 %) & in engineering, manufacturing & construction (8%). Feb 11 is #WomenInScienceDay we're doing our part to change the stats because you can't be what you can't see.
"Parent's are a child's first teacher. It's important that girls, like mine, see what they can be. I want to be a positive influence for my three daughters. If I don't achieve that, what is more important? Nothing." - Njideka Harry, Founder

Our students were excited to incorporate #blackpanther into their human centered design process w/ @EricaNwankwo while exploring how the design will be used by Wakandans and what benefits the design would have to the people who live in Wakanda. #ripchadwickboseman#WakandaForever
She drew inspiration from the important role of Wakandian women in science, innovation and leadership, as well as the “greater good” principles underlying Wakandian decision making and choices #WakandaForever#ripchadwickboseman
#flashback to our spring break cohort, Professor @OlfaNasraoui of @UofLSpeedEng shared highlights and lessons from her journey and career as a woman in computer science and engineering. She also gave an overview of of Big Data & Data Science for the greater good. #BlackPanther
We miss our girls and their creativity. On #InternationalYouthDay, we're changing the underrepresentation of women and girls in #STEM fields like engineering and computer science. Learn: https://t.co/03tE7rNmFV #EquityInSTEM
We honor #BreonnaTaylor and the countless lives lost to senseless violence and racial injustice across America and in #Louisville Louisville, where our 3DPAG HQ is located. Please join us in investing in black girls and women and together we can forever honor her life #SayHerName
To educators everywhere, including ours, who are inspiring the next generation of #MakeHers and innovators. We see you and we appreciate you. Happy #TeacherAppreciationDay
🗣️Calling all makers: If you have a 3-D printer at home, consider joining our effort with @firstbuild and @uofl to make thousands of face shields for the medical community.
