Community Member @DaveOfThings has photographed our events since 2022. We are thrilled he kept his streak going this year! He recently released his 3DPrintopia 2026 photos. You can find them on his SmugMug site under "3DP" and then "3D Printopia 2026". If you see something you like, you are able to download full-sized photos. While you are there, feel free to take a detour to past events!

We already knew the #3DPrinting stewards at Nova Labs were full of knowledge. Now they have a title to prove it! @nova_labs are the champions of the first Ultimate Additive Quiz Show held at 3DPrintopia! Congratulations!

If you aren't familiar with the Ultimate Additive Quiz Show, teams of four put their 3D printing knowledge to the test while raising money for the @The_SMF_ . All proceeds from the Quiz Show help provide opportunities, equipment, training, and mentorship for neurodivergent young people interested in engineering and technology.

A HUGE thank you to all our competitors, @LDOmotors for supplying prizes, @Polymaker_3D for providing filament to all participants, and, of course, to Joel Telling and David Tobin from @3dprintingnerd for putting together a fantastic show!

Although the Quiz Show is over, the opportunity to support its cause isn't! If you missed the event or simply want to help keep the good going, please consider making a donation directly to the Sanjay Mortimer Foundation to support their mission.

A week ago today we were having the BEST time at @3DPrintopia! It was so much fun to have @Kaizen3DPrints on our booth and be neighbours with @Proto_pasta, showing people how to make the most out of their ObXiDian 500 nozzles and how to print some incredible textiles!

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello. 👋 We loved seeing you all 💙 and the BIGGEST thank you goes to our good friend @repkord for helping orchestrate all of the fun!

If you couldn’t make to the event then never fear, you can still learn all about 3D printing fabric here🧑‍🎓 https://t.co/wF61TUgMyV

Even though the 7th Running of the 3D Printed Derby moved to Philadelphia, there were some familiar faces on the podium. Steve Davidson has had consistent success in the races over the years. However, this may be the first year where he won both the Stock class and the Creatively Fast class.

Attendees voted on their favorite Concours/Show car design. This year, by far, they picked another design from the Kay family! The winning design was based off of a real bed from home. It was full of neat details like buttons as wheels and even included a small version of the family's other derby car in the design. It is no wonder this entry got more than twice the votes of the nearest competitor!

As always, the trophies were made by the talented Cole Hastings Goldstein. We also want to give a big thanks to @ScoutingPhilly for organizing the races.

Congratulations all!

Sounds like some good memories are made!!!

@3DPrintopia Was a blast! I'll post some pictures up later but wanted to make a special post to Sydney here and her father for allowing her to race as they were about to leave!

I asked them if she would be allowed to enter the deathracer battle and use one of our racers. She had a lot of fun and did really well actually! And another thanks to Dad for allowing the post!

Drop a comment and congratulate her on going to battle with the best out there! 😉 @West3DPrinting

@3DPrintopia My daughter and I had a great time! Amtrak into Philly, two stops on the SEPTA and we were under cover the entire time. Farther for us than BelAir, but worth the trip. See you next year!

Thank you for joining us! Glad you had a good time. 🙃

A huge thank you to @WeShallPai and his team at @SliceWorx3D for helping us bring our stickers to life for 3DPrintopia 2026!

Their support goes far beyond this year’s stickers...SliceWorx has stood behind Recreator3D and our work at RepRap Festivals for the past five years.

That kind of ongoing support means the world to a small maker project like ours and helps us continue sharing, educating, recycling, and creating with the community!

Be sure to grab a sticker when you visit us at @3DPrintopia and please show SliceWorx some love for continuing to support makers like us!

Thank you SliceWorx, for five incredible years of helping us Reduce, Reuse, and Recreate!
