The software lineup includes Maya, Houdini, Nuke, and Unreal Engine 5. I’ve been learning so much along the way. For rendering, I used Arnold for models and FX, while the background was rendered with UE5’s Path Tracer.
This is my first time tackling a project like this – breaking through my own limitations, and it’s been a real headache! Primarily, this project is an opportunity to explore the workflow with USD files and the Houdini x Unreal Engine 5 pipeline.

There are a lot of challenges when building a massive VFX shot, and compositing plays a critical role in the final result.
