@GachaSnipe Now that I think about it, one of Neuvillette’s character stories says he transcends fate. Traveler, whom is also outside of the system of fate, resisted time stop. Incredibly lazy writing if that’s the case. I’ll have to ponder this some more.

@GachaSnipe They didn’t beat Ei, she intentionally held back and eventually stood down. She was testing the traveler’s resolve. Miko later says that Ei is still unmatched in combat.

@GachaSnipe Then that would be, in my eyes, very bad writing. "powerful enough" people logically should not be able to do that, them being able to would be a cheap and lazy explanation to say the very least. You shouldn't just be able to "ignore" time stop just 'cause.

@GachaSnipe Basically, you can't fight time with plants, for example. there was something else at play we don't know about yet (either that or its bad writing). A sovereign doesn't match a shade, and they don't match many Archons even at full power.

@GachaSnipe the shades are beings of metaphysical powers while the dragons are beings of physical powers. Though Neuvillette can create life with the primordial sea, he can't metaphysically control life and the life the sea has created has never been powerful life like gods.

@rosalyneland Signora died because she arrogantly accepted the duel, something that is completely in character for her seeing how she was dumb enough to try to take Venti's gnosis by force. She's lucky he was nice enough to allow her to take it and live.

@GachaSnipe @Used228 Pretty much any of the three eldest Archons could beat sovereigns. They all have powers that dwarf those of dragons. Venti can remove things from the timeline, Ei can cut through space, and much, much more. The sovereigns are by far the most overhyped faction in the game.
