But there isn’t a cooler, nicer tax haven in Europe. And F1 is mostly an Europe-based sport, so living in the Caribbean or Asia is too far away

@SwipaCam Reaves didn’t take a discount; the Lakers maxed him out under CBA constraints. The only way to unlock more money was with an RFA offer sheet from another team. Blame his agents for failing to get that offer. It wasn’t a sacrifice by Reaves nor the Lakers being cheap.

@KirkSeriousFace I was a 6’4 center in high school —tallest in most games—, and would regularly get scolded by my coaches for pump faking when guarded by smaller dudes. Wemby has 5 inches on the second tallest dudes in most games; what the hell is he doing pump faking?

I’m talking about Wemby on defense, getting worn down by a big center posting him up or driving against him. He didn’t deal with that against the Portland, Minny or OKC

@iamrahstradamus Wemby will have a hard time with KAT. KAT has his flaws but he's no Chet: he can and will shoot a lot, no hesitation; and he can put the ball on the floor and bulldoze his way to the rim. Sure, Wemby will block some, but over time it'll wear him down.

@AnthonyIrwinLA I don't know if you've talked about it, but current state of RFA helps LA, right? RFA can take a lot of time to unfold. Lakers could sign Duren to offer sheet, 48hr later DET matches; so LA signs Watson, DEN matches; LA signs Eason etc. Takes 6 days, not that much
