Someone on Reddit asked, “if you’re injured as a result of a mass shooting, are you responsible for that medical bill?” And I find that a uniquely American question.
@AirbnbHelp Waited 3 days after inital problem before tweeting you. Another day since you said someone would contact us. We're being pretty patient considering we had to turn away a family with 2 children under 2 who were fresh off a 12 hour flight & 6 hour car ride.
@Airbnb We have repeatedly ask you to take down an ad on your site listing our hotel under and a previous name and owner.
This morning a nice but now angry family with 2 young kids turned up with a booking for this fake ad having paid you to stay for 10 nights. 1/2
@bookingcom hi. Been trying to verify the location of my hotel with you for 6 months. Can't do it via a letter code asa post doesn't work here. Tried requesting call 4 times now & waited patiently for 3 months now. Chased today & got repeated canned responses. Please help!
@AirbnbHelp Tried that last time. Got an email telling me not to worry - my listings weren't active. So I don't have much faith in taking this to a dm. Especially considering this is now the 4th time I have raised this. Lost count of how many times I've reported the listings/ host
@AirbnbHelp Hi there. Unfortunately the person who responded to us on your site had totally misunderstood the problem and is now ignoring us. This is pretty poor service.
We would rather not have to contact you publicly about this issue but feel we now have to after exhausting all other means of contact to no response.
The ad is still listed on the site as of right now, we cannot accommodate any bookings made through this ad.
They have been left over $400 out of pocket and are now having to find a room elsewhere as we can not accomadate them.
I suggest you get this ad taken down before anybody else is conned.
Bruh I’m done with AirBnbs. Hotels are pretty much the same price, way more comfortable/less awkward, and don’t mess up a city’s housing market.
Plus they have pools and breakfast.
@agoda what kind of due diligence do you perform when people list properties on your site? Someone is listing mine on your platform despite not having a legal right to do so & I can't get help without having a booking.
@BulamuSafaris@nomadicmatt One of the best things we have ever done, so amazing to spend even a short time with these amazing apes in their own habitat
