I’m amazed at how many coaches have sets they love to use, but don’t have sets that are designed to utilize their players talents.

@TravisBOUND The real reason is the rise of volleyball and it’s on several levels. 1. Volleyball is high energy while having no contact with the opposing teams players. 2. Volleyball is now all year long. 3. Per a young female hooper , women’s hoops culture is largely toxic.

Fun end to a fun drill by the #Badgers. Red jerseys, a man down defensively, needed one last stop to win drill.

Notice how vocal Nick Boyd is, telling Portland transfer forward Austin Rapp to play up. Rapp ends up applying the pressure that leads to a throwaway. Boyd loves it.

Offensive Rebounding Tip -
“70% Rule.”
🔷A missed shot from the side goes across the basket about 70% of the time.
🔷A missed shot from in front will bounce back toward the shooter about 70% of the time.
🔷Train your offensive rebounders to find these “hot spots.”

Being a college coach in this era is just wild. You add 2-3 guys to your roster to build depth and skill on your team only to lose 1-2 the next day because they feel they’re being cut out.

@verysmartpants @CoachDame_BSM @JonKrawczynski @Gaardsy You can’t be serious? It’s hard to be a ref but it’s not hard to make basic calls. Player picks up the ball clear slide both feet on his way to a bucket. It’s reasonable to expect a call in that situation.
