Prisciliano Trejo, who had leukemia, was reportedly denied medical care by ICE for 8 days while in a detention center run by CoreCivic.

He died just days later — and ICE is already shirking accountability. After denying him care, they released him to his family, where he died shortly after. They likely did this to avoid having another official death in custody and to keep their own horrific statistics from looking worse.

ICE and CoreCivic cannot get away with this. We must eliminate every for-profit detention facility and dismantle ICE entirely.

As a growing number of cities reject Flock, some are turning to Axon for surveillance technology.

The problem is that residents have primarily rejected Flock because they value their privacy — but Axon isn't any better.

The company says its Axon Vision technology can currently "recognize observable activity such as physical altercations, unauthorized access, medical emergencies, or hazardous conditions" in real time, and it already has millions of CCTV cameras with this capacity.

Like Flock, Axon uses AI to bolster its surveillance technology. And Axon also has multiple federal government contracts for tasers, body cameras, and cloud software.

Notably, Axon has contracts to provide cameras and data storage to DHS, provide weapons and training for ICE, and more.

Axon also made headlines earlier this year when it appeared that Trump bought Axon stock right before ICE sought another $220 million Taser deal which is all but certain to go to the company.

BREAKING: The House just voted 216-212 to pass a national defense authorization act that takes a huge step towards meshing the U.S. and Israeli militaries.

This legislation would massively expand U.S.-Israel defense technology cooperation and integration.

One portion of the bill, the United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, would give Israel access to U.S. military and intelligence systems’ technology, information, and supply chain, while giving the U.S. very little in return.

The House of Representatives has passed the FY2027 NDAA (H.R. 8800), which includes the proposal to expand defense cooperation between the United States and Israel — including joint collaboration on military technologies, missile defense, cyber capabilities, data sharing, and research and development.
