@EnergyCredit1@jendubayevans@Tejanobrown@FracSlap Oh you think a salamander should be potentially protected? Nope.
A pipeline shouldn't go under a river or reservation? Fuck Around.
Let us build enough power, pipelines, refineries, etc. do power the world? Find out.
@EnergyCredit1@jendubayevans@Tejanobrown@FracSlap Solution to the lack of energy supply. I'm good but I welcome all those that think they understand but don't get physics, chemistry, heat transfer, thermodynamics, etc. to fuck around and find out. I can provide a graph if necessary.
@EnergyCredit1 Also, and you are a finance guy so you didn't study this but there is a thing called energy balance. Wind and solar don't outweigh natural gas and nuclear.
@EnergyCredit1 You tell me It's the most energy dense, economic without government, reliable source out there. Why on earth wouldn't the people who want to "decarbonize" be all for it?
@EnergyCredit1 And why do you think he capital markets are shit besides the current state of it? Who is we because I don't see a lot of "we" out there until the power goes off. Private markets? How much did we just float to your wind and solar that doesn't have the energy density?
@EnergyCredit1 More importantly our financial system doesn't support 10-20 year decisions unless you are Exxon and JPM. If we had a unicorn president and congress, would nuke plants still get funded?
@EnergyCredit1 Ok well here we are, in a true supply crunch for the first time in most of our lives. How would you fix this given no regulations? You're ostensibly a credit guy who can weigh the pros and cons. What's the path forward?
