@SaffronOlive Interesting. Thanks for adding. New deck formation is nice to look at,but more of measure of creativity & deck diversity in format(seems low in Historic),rather than gauge of how many people are playing it.Possible that they move in different directions.Match play data digs deeper
Seems like this would be an interesting way to visualize string theory - the vibrational state of the sand determines the pattern seen, just as the vibrational state of the string determines the particle that it portrays.
@TolarianCollege Stonecoil art depicts method of punishment that Vlad the Impaler preferred. He later became the inspiration for Dracula. Interesting videos on History Channel YouTube - one where doctors see if his claim of being able to keep victims alive was credible
Battle Frenzy is crazy too
@SaffronOlive Imagine if WOTC put the energy that they use to scheme & manipulate into product quality & brand development. They would have a company focused on legitimate growth, actually producing the products that people want instead of leaving it up to counterfeiters.
@SaffronOlive All WOTC has to do to solve the counterfeit issue is to sell their product at a reasonable price above cost. The higher a product is priced above actual manufacturing cost the more incentive it creates for counterfeiting & the less likely they’ll be able to control the market.
@mpepp9 @SolofJoshxbox@SaffronOlive Yes! Net loss occurs when a company refuses to manufacture a product that has demand.Attempting to fix prices creates barriers for consumers, company restricts its profitability preventing future growth/innovation/employment, &robust black market forms to meet the consumer demand
@SaffronOlive This sounds an awful lot like the “technology doesn’t exist” comment. Replicating materials, processes, & technology from 30 years ago can be done, but there’s very little incentive for them to do it.
@SaffronOlive Are we starting to understand that the best things are created by large engaged communities rather than small autocratic groups? At this point WOTC would be better served by having players submit card & game designs and build off of those.
