@gunpolicy So if SCOTUS decides pro 2A in Viramontes and says ar bans are unconstitutional, does Miiler even matter anymore?? Isn’t the 9th’s decision in that case irrelevant??
@maziehirono This law was about restricting the carry rights of ccw holders, a population that has fewer violent criminal acts than law enforcement! (Look it up).
A state has no “right” to protect its people. And Town of Castlerock v. Gonzales says that it has no obligation either! Just leave us alone and we will keep ourselves safe!
To put it plainly, yesterday this out-of-control SCOTUS ruled that the right to carry a gun is more important than a state's right to protect its people.
Our country is awash in guns, and these decisions do nothing to make us safer.

@RedJeff19@Mrgunsngear I know springs enough to know that that one says that cop went into a potential gun fight with something less than a rifle loaded in best condition. 🤷
@MorosKostas “Self-defense” from hunger…
“Self-defense” from boredom…
“Self-defense” from people who mean you harm…
“Self-defense” from an overreaching, tyrannical government …
Works for me
@MickInTheIsland@hannahhill_sc I’ve always wondered why previous rulings can’t proactively apply to new laws. Why does the ruling always have to be reactive even when the new law so blatantly contradicts prior rulings?
