Some of y’all need to understand that people don’t stick around just because of a blockchain. They stick around because of PEOPLE.

Algorand is a smaller ecosystem. At one point, we had 30–40 solid NFT projects that people genuinely believed in. Today, that number feels like a fraction of what it once was.

When founders launch thousands of NFTs, go silent, abandon their communities or shift their focus elsewhere, the damage goes beyond their own project.

On larger chains like Solana, there’s enough activity to absorb some of that damage. On Algorand, losing even a handful of established communities has a much bigger impact.

And the founders still here building, collaborating and trying to grow are left rebuilding that trust.

Communities don’t disappear overnight. They disappear when people stop giving them reasons to stay.
