@smithgabe955@FrontRowBrian@PBglimbeck@Nyanasaur Yeah exactly. The run expectancy for a single at any point besides leading off an inning is pretty low, and it’s even lower for him because he can’t score from 1st off most doubles. If he was leading off an inning in SD a lot of times he’d get stranded at 2nd or 3rd.
@LuisRod2408@DIRECTVhelp@JCMize676 It’s free, login with your directv login on any mobile device or smart tv & you can watch it. Had to do the same thing unfortunately.
@MikePita@MoneyMaal1 People liked to fault AJ for running lazy routes at times but they never took into account his snap counts & just how many go routes he ran over the course of a game. The diversity in routes & reduced snap count should do wonders for his body. Hope he & NE has a great season👍🏾
@MikePita@MoneyMaal1 He’s either dense or he’s just being obtuse, but you’re right. As an offense we realized that AJ has gravity & simply by being on the field he was holding 2 defenders, regardless of run or pass. So he would be on the field all the time even if that meant he took some plays off
@hbnick73@4LloydChristmas@Savageboston@RapSheet Talking about draft classes two years out is always funny to me lol. We’re mostly talking about players who just finished their freshman and sophomore years & have no clue what that draft class will look like by January of 2028.
@JRLockwood4@EaglesNest2910@RealMamaEagle I guess it doesn’t mean anything that Jalen is quite literally married & AJ cheated on his then gf, mother of his children & now wife..?
@Isko_5 People believe anything that makes even a little bit of sense. Something like this wouldn’t be the world’s best kept secret, especially with all the people that have came & went in that time.
@dmoultrie55_56@Beebzzmth@BleedingGreen There is no one we can draft or pick up that will replicate the luxury of being able to leave your LT & RT 1v1 for 97% of the game lol. People grossly undervalue the offensive flexibility that comes with that. Also, I worry about our LG/C/RG options if even one of them gets hurt
@drisbucketts@JNoWay7@thomasrp93 The only 3 players to net 13,000 career yards and 85+ TDs that are not in the HOF are DHop, Mike Evans, and Davante Adams….
Who are all going to be in the HOF.
@drisbucketts@JNoWay7@thomasrp93 He won’t be playing a football game at 30 until 2027, he’s two great szns from 11,000 career yards, and he’s already a 3x AP and SB Champion. If he were to play until… 34? 35? He’d likely cross over 13,000 career yards & with even decent production, he’s gonna get to 85-90 TDs.
@215szn@bigplay24slay@Blast0825 He cared about the overall efficacy of the passing game, which had it been more effective, we probably have a better seed or at LEAST beat SF in the playoffs. That’s really what he was getting at.
vs. SF we won the TO margin 2 to 0, won time of possession by 11+ mins and lost.
@KeatonSzn@BattleToad2785@Orioles Alby acknowledged that it could be a potential plan once innings start to rack up for guys like Bradish & others. We’re still in May, so the plan for now is just 5
@TheRealOxPro@boogsenthusiast I think they’ve done a lot of mountain moving for a guy they don’t even have extended yet (& likely won’t). It’s gonna rub players & their agents the wrong way when he leaves and the team goes “hey you wanna play SS now?”
Better to just do it now and deal with the ramifications
@retireddigger@masnRoch SSs make more $$, and I’m not sure you want to task your already struggling SS with adjusting to 3B after not playing it at all last year
@SincerelyTr3y@ReevesMuse@ayroned I think they’re trying to make sure they capture the viewership from the West Coast, & you can’t realistically expect ppl on the west coast to be tuned into a 4:00p game (if the first one started at 7p EST) on Cinco de Mayo
@howtheheckareya@BaseballWRLD_ Batting average is way too archaic of a stat (see Luis Arraez). His wOBA is still ~10% higher than league avg up to this point and he’s punishing baseballs. Combine than with great base running & plus defense
