Found out today Arizona is a state which does NOT have a comprehensive consumer privacy law protecting consumers' really personal info from being blasted all over the web. There is no state privacy framework.
WHY would they not protect us?

@DineshDSouza Schumer, D-N.Y., โWe donโt have to tie that disagreement up and use people at the airports and American citizens as hostages.โ
But this is EXACTLY what they're doing!
If any of them cared about Americans, they wouldn't be waiting for something terrible to happen before acting.
2.5 years behind bars. That's the sentence handed down today for a Tucson teen responsible for a hit-and-run that killed 75-year-old Sally Alcaraz Rodriguez near 12th and Irvington. Police say 18-year-old Alexis Eduardo Ibarra-Guerrero confessed to the hit-and-run, but the Pima County Attorney's Office told 13 News there was no evidence that the crash itself was anything more than an accident. Because of that, they did not charge him with causing her death, only for leaving the scene.
According to court documents, dashboard video captured Ibarra-Guerrero looking at Sally on the ground before driving away.
The judge says she weighed the fact that Ibarra-Guerrero was in the country illegally on an overstayed visa, and drove several blocks with Rodriguez on his vehicle before she fell off or was pushed off and then fled, but ultimately handed down 2.5 years in prison, with 100 days already served.
Sally's family read emotional statements in court today, as they don't feel justice was served for their beloved matriarch.
@Bubblebathgirl My first thought was half the people see things one way and the other half see it another.
Then I thought about it a little more and realized half the people see through the bs and the other half try to convince themselves nothing is wrong with it.

@JackPosobiec They are very real.
I've been gut punched by several things this year, most recently all of us losing Charlie here and in June my father. The young being killed or killing.
Even a blind person can see what is going on.

Saint Joan of Arc (c. 1412โ1431) was a French peasant girl who became a national heroine and saint. Born in Domrรฉmy, France, she experienced visions from saints, including Saint Michael, urging her to help France during the Hundred Yearsโ War against England. At age 17, she convinced Charles VII, the uncrowned French king, to let her lead troops. Dressed in armor, she inspired victories, notably lifting the siege of Orlรฉans in 1429, which paved the way for Charles VIIโs coronation.
Her military successes made her a target. Captured by Burgundian forces in 1430, she was sold to the English, tried for heresy and witchcraft by a pro-English church court, and burned at the stake in Rouen on May 30, 1431, at age 19. In 1456, a posthumous retrial cleared her name. She was canonized in 1920 and is a patron saint of France, known for her courage and devout faith.
