yall know memory repression is a thing correct? like psychologically? they don't know why we do it but they know there's activity of it in the brain when unwanted thoughts are being thought. it's a literal trauma response. i do agree the story is wonky and all over the place but-

@Sara_Naps @ndrpepp3r that's still fresh? when it comes to trauma of these sorts it can take YEARS for the lingering touches to come clean. it can take YEARS for those feelings to start to decompress. trauma is more complexed than just forgetting and letting it go, something this traumatic-
