Thanks to team @NWhearts last night. Urgent ICD explant from elsewhere. Consultant-led support from anaesthetic, cardiac & thoracic surgical teams with standby theatre team. I counted 16 people in the pre-op safety briefing (many not on call). All went well. #NHS at its finest.
