ICE just arrested Ecuadorian illegal alien Jorge Serrano-Fernandez after he finished his New York prison time for killing 19-year-old Edwin Puma — sanctuary policies under Hochul and Mamdani let him go free instead of handing him to ICE.

In 2021 Serrano drove drunk and unlicensed, hit Puma’s dirt bike on the Long Island Expressway in Queens, dragged him 100 yards, and fled. Puma, a recent high school graduate who wanted to become a cop, died. Serrano got 4–12 years. New York won’t honor ICE detainers, so he finished state time and went free instead of being deported. ICE took him this weekend anyway.

Hochul and Mamdani protect the killers. Americans bury the kids.

You call Secretary Mullin a liar, then change the subject to an ICE shooting.

Which numbers are false? How many detainers were actually rejected? How many involved violent offenders?

The shooting deserves an investigation. It doesn’t make those questions disappear.
