NEW INVESTIGATION: Did Soros Foundation Money Travel Through Charities Into the 2024 Presidential Race?
Full investigation with receipts

Money you can deduct on your taxes is supposed to fund charity, not campaigns. Here's a trail that runs from a tax-deductible donation to a presidential super PAC — entirely on public IRS returns.
The rule it tests is simple. A 501(c)(3) charity takes deductible dollars but can't spend on politics. A 501(c)(4) can spend on politics but offers no deduction. So when charitable money passes from a (c)(3), through intermediary charities, into a (c)(4) that spends it on campaigns, a tax-deductible dollar has been turned into political spending. That is the line §4955 of the tax code exists to police — and the intermediaries here are two charitable networks, Arabella and Tides.
Here's where the returns say the money went. Two George Soros private foundations sent $92,465,850 to the Arabella charities — New Venture, Hopewell, and Windward. Those same charities moved $343,967,196 to the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a 501(c)(4) political arm.
On a separate path, a Soros foundation routed money through the Tides Foundation, which sent $842,000 directly across the charitable-to-political line into that same fund.
Two further routes added more: Open Society Policy Center, a Soros-affiliated 501(c)(4), gave $68,150,000 directly, and Tides Advocacy, another Soros-linked political fund, added $4,169,700. In all, $417,128,896 reached the Sixteen Thirty Fund.
Now the last step. The Sixteen Thirty Fund and an affiliated political fund sent $13,739,642 to a federal super PAC — about 59% of its itemized receipts. The PAC spent $19,799,415 naming federal candidates, including $12,718,076 supporting the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee.
That closes the chain: charity → charity → political fund → super PAC → the presidential race. A tax-deductible foundation dollar at the top. Federal campaign spending at the bottom. Every rung on a public return.
Every step is permissible in isolation. A foundation may grant to a charity; a charity may grant to a 501(c)(4); a 501(c)(4) may spend on politics. But assembled from the returns, the sequence shows tax-deductible foundation dollars moving step by step toward candidate-directed federal spending.
The question the rules exist to answer: were charitable assets, in substance, converted into political campaign spending? Only the IRS can see the grant agreements and donor records that settle it — and the findings have been referred there.
I'm a forensic accountant and a registered Democrat. I follow the documents, not the politics. Every figure here is from the organizations' own IRS returns.

NYC Council Speaker @JulieMenin voted YES on the Community Opportunity to Purchase Act, which restricts how owners of certain apartment buildings can sell their properties.
Her husband, Bruce Menin, is a founding principal of Crescent Heights, a real estate developer with over $14 billion in projects nationwide, including NYC.
I’d like to know whether any properties owned by her husband or his business interests are subject to the same restrictions she just voted to impose on other property owners.
That’s a fair question for the Council Speaker.
Since @NewYorkStateAG Letitia James took office, the racial disparity in NYC violent-crime victimization has grown.
According to NYPD complaint data:
Black victims: 4.50 times the White victimization rate in 2018, rising to 4.68 in the first half of 2026.
Hispanic victims: 2.94 times, rising to 3.27.
These are crime victims, not statistics to be ignored when they’re politically inconvenient.
The numbers deserve scrutiny.
Felony assaults across New York are up 20% under AG Letitia James. In Midtown Manhattan, it’s particularly acute — the attacks tend to happen on the sidewalk, in the subway, at the bus terminal, and in stores and restaurants, and they’ve more than doubled. New Yorkers are less safe, and the small businesses in the area pay a #CrimeTax because fewer people walk in the door.
@RashidaTlaib, I read your source and your legislation, H.R. 4966.
Your source examines Walmart patents describing what technology could do. It doesn’t establish that Walmart is using customers’ personal information to charge them higher prices.
Walmart denies doing so.
But here’s what your bill actually does.
Section 5 bans electronic shelf labels in grocery stores larger than 10,000 square feet, even when every customer pays the same price.
Section 2 also gives the FTC broad authority to determine what constitutes a grossly excessive grocery price.
You claim you’re stopping surveillance pricing. Why does your legislation also prohibit electronic price tags that aren’t being used for surveillance pricing?
And where’s your evidence that Walmart is actually engaging in the conduct you’re accusing it of?
Walmart claims it prices products, not people–but this is literally us in their parking lot demanding that they stop price gouging.
Walmart’s surveillance technology allows them to use your sensitive personal information against you to raise prices. That’s outrageous.
The Stop Price Gouging in Grocery Stores Act bans corporate price gouging and surveillance pricing.

Kathy Hochul says Democrats fight for families, local businesses, immigrant communities, and the people.
Families: NYC’s under-five population fell 18% from 2020 to 2024. Child care costs a fortune.
Local businesses: New York businesses with 25–99 employees declined 4% over four years.
Immigrant communities: Hochul signed legislation restricting local police and sheriffs from cooperating with ICE on civil immigration enforcement, including cases involving people with criminal records. Her policy obstructs federal efforts to remove noncitizens who pose a danger to New Yorkers.
The people: NYC ambulance response times for life-threatening emergencies rose from approximately 9:55 in FY2019 to 13:09 in FY2026.
Governor, whom exactly are you fighting for?
When Democrats lead, we fight for our families.
We fight for our local businesses.
We fight for our immigrant communities.
We fight for the people.
Let’s keep fighting.
Early voting starts tomorrow: https://t.co/d1cNaEyvmN
ASTORIA, QUEENS IS A DISGRACE.
Homeless encampments, open drug use, public urination, human feces, nudity, tents and garbage blocking sidewalks.
Parents with strollers and people in wheelchairs can’t even get through. Kids are witnessing this on their way to SCHOOL and PLAYGROUNDS.
Hundreds of complaints. Residents begging for help.
And according my sources to residents, the NYPD has its hands tied while the city offers shelter and allows the encampments to remain.
ZORON THE MORON, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
New Yorkers deserve CLEAN, SAFE STREETS. This is unacceptable.
It’s a beautiful Friday evening in Manhattan. Please treat yourselves to some quality time, even if it is for a few moments. In our troubled times, we all need a momentary distraction to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. I hope you all have a blessed and enjoyable weekend!
Crazy Eddie Memoirs: During my criminal days at Crazy Eddie, I learned that some of the biggest crooks were also the nicest people you’d ever meet.
They smiled, shook hands, and made people feel good about trusting them.
I know. I was one of them.
Remember that old song, Smiling Faces Sometimes?
“Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend.”
Mayor Mamdani and Gov. Hochul are shaking hands and disseminating campaign literature for her reelection in McCarren Park.
And there's a lot of excitement for... Mamdani.
Alex Cole, you’re confusing ordinary name changes and nicknames with questions about identities used in federal immigration records.
Did Melania Trump, Ted Cruz, JD Vance, or Nikki Haley have a federal court filing identify them under a different name matching the name of someone they had legally married?
Did any of them file joint tax returns with one person while legally married to another, as Minnesota authorities documented Omar did in 2014 and 2015?
The issue isn’t whether someone changed a name. It’s whether the identities, marital representations, and immigration records are accurate.
That’s what investigators should examine. Your list of nicknames answers none of those questions.
MAGA says Ilhan Omar isn't using her real name.
Melania Trump was born Melanija Knavs.
Ted Cruz was born Rafael Edward Cruz.
JD Vance was born James Donald Bowman.
Nikki Haley was born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa.
Mike Johnson's real first name is James.
Rand Paul is Randal Paul.
Newt Gingrich was born Newton Leroy McPherson.
But suddenly MAGA wants a congressional investigation into names?
. @RoKhanna, you support NATO, including America’s commitment to defend other member nations. You support military assistance to Ukraine and Taiwan. You advocate international institutions and multilateral cooperation.
But expanding defense research and technology cooperation with Israel suddenly threatens American sovereignty?
NATO’s Article 5 involves collective defense obligations. The U.S.-Israel provision concerns defense cooperation.
Explain why the former is compatible with American sovereignty while the latter supposedly threatens it.
Calling yourself “Team America” doesn’t explain the double standard.
Jewish Insider writes this as if it's a gotcha headline.
What do Democratic and Republican voters think about our sovereignty.
My guess is they stand with me in being for Team America.

Governor @KathyHochul, your grandparents immigrated from Ireland around 1919 and built permanent lives in America.
That’s not the same thing as Temporary Protected Status.
Congress created TPS as temporary humanitarian relief, not a permanent immigration program.
Since when does temporary mean permanent?
And why are you using your grandparents’ story to blur that distinction?
As the granddaughter of immigrants, I believe every New York family deserves a shot at the American dream. As Haitian communities continue to face uncertainty over Trump’s cancellation of TPS, I’ll keep standing up to his cruelty and investing in public safety.
SERIOUS QUESTIONS SURROUND KATHY HOCHUL'S HIGH-DOLLAR CAMPAIGN DONATIONS
Kathy Hochul accepted a high-dollar political contribution attributed to an individual who had reportedly been declared legally incapacitated by a court of law years before the donation.
The donor also has ownership ties to a business that has benefited from hundreds of millions of dollars in New York State taxpayer funding.
Somebody just sent me this post. Mr. Eagleman is right. Let me reiterate: If anything, I understated it. And when I was working, the money went to Yemen, where either al Qaeda or ISIS was in charge (depending on the year). My people tried their best to stop this. No one cared.
.@GovKathyHochul, @TishJames and @ZohranKMamdani:
ICE says Sneider Mejia Bautista was ordered deported in May 2025. After his arrest on a weapons charge that October, NYC refused to honor an ICE detainer.
Now he’s charged with attempting to murder an off-duty NYPD detective who was stabbed seven times.
Hochul and James say restricting cooperation with ICE keeps New Yorkers safe. Mamdani says NYC’s sanctuary laws make the city safer.
Here’s a question for all three of you:
Why was someone with a deportation order and a subsequent weapons arrest still on NYC’s streets, and what exactly prevented his transfer to federal custody?
New Yorkers deserve an answer, not another speech about sanctuary policies.
ICE lodged detainers against two Dominican illegal aliens arrested in connection with the Oct. 2 alleged stabbing of an off-duty New York City Police Department detective in the Norwood section of Bronx, New York.
New York City’s refusal to honor ICE detainers and its repeated release of removable aliens has grave and unacceptable consequences, including for the law enforcement officers sworn to protect the city.
🚨Dangelo Rafael Jean Caraballo’s criminal history in New York includes arrests for criminal possession of a loaded firearm and menacing involving a weapon.
🚨An immigration judge ordered Sneider Mejia Bautista removed May 8, 2025. ICE issued a detainer last year in October after he was arrested for attempted criminal weapons possession, but NYC declined to honor that detainer.
Sanctuary policies only put American citizens, including local law enforcement, at risk by allowing dangerous criminal illegal aliens to live in our communities, without regard to the crimes they’ve committed or the people they’ve harmed.
. @BernieSanders, you’re leaving out some rather important numbers.
Stanford researchers identified seven billionaires who left California, taking approximately $540 billion in wealth out of the potential tax base.
They estimate your one-time wealth tax could raise just $30 billion, while the loss of future income taxes could ultimately cost California more.
And that’s assuming the tax survives constitutional challenges involving retroactivity, residency and taxation of wealth outside California.
You celebrate the number of billionaires. What about the tax revenue California may never collect again?
And Bernie, you’re relying on Gabriel Zucman’s secondhand interpretation of Meta’s SEC filing instead of reading the actual disclosures, including Annex C.
Zuckerberg was preparing to leave California. Meta negotiated a stock arrangement giving him liquidity without surrendering voting control.
His eight-year residency commitment is conditional on continued leadership, allows him to live wherever Meta maintains its headquarters, and contains an exception for material unforeseen circumstances.
The filing doesn’t establish that Zuckerberg has paid the proposed tax or made an unconditional commitment to remain in California.
You call his threat to leave a bluff. The contemporaneous SEC disclosures document his preparations to leave and the concessions negotiated to keep him.
Read the primary documents, Bernie. They’re considerably more informative than somebody else’s interpretation of them.
Mark Zuckerberg’s threat to leave CA if voters approve a 5% billionaire wealth tax was a bluff.
He’s not alone. Since Prop 40 was filed, CA gained 32 billionaires & billionaires in CA got $381 billion richer.
Yes. It’s time for a billionaire wealth tax. It starts in California.
The New Republic has taken Matthew Cole’s allegations against Jared Kushner and promoted them into established facts.
It claims Kushner was paid nearly $2 billion by foreign governments and failed to disclose foreign accounts to the IRS.
Where are the bank records establishing he received that money? Where are the records establishing he failed to make required disclosures?
The article provides neither.
Having alleged access to an account isn’t the same as receiving its money.
I’m a former financial criminal. I know the difference between evidence and accusations.
Apparently, The New Republic doesn’t think readers need to see the evidence.
Kushner also failed to disclose himself as an agent of a foreign government, having been paid nearly $2 billion in total by foreign leaders. https://t.co/fyqxxyuYyp
.@IlhanMN, you call Republicans the “pedophile protection party.”
The U.S. State Department documented child marriage in Gaza, including laws permitting girls as young as 15 to marry and exceptions for even younger children.
You’ve been outspoken about Palestinian rights. Have you ever spoken out against these child marriages?
Palestinian girls deserve protection, too.
The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history.
Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar.
Maybe you should focus on what your VP’s real name is.
