Recently, Trumbull Correctional Institution hosted a graduation event. 22 students graduated from the Masonry Program, five students received a GED/high school diploma and four individuals received an associates degree from Sinclair College.

Ohio Penal Industries (OPI) recently had their second incarcerated adult successfully pass his CDL test. OPI staff will continue to provide on-the-road training for the incarcerated adult, allowing him to have an adequate amount of driving hours prior to his release.
Sinclair Culinary Arts program hosted a breakfast meal and discussion. The group is looking to match students in the hospitality business thru reentry and employment once release from prison.
Sinclair College will be closed for Holiday Break from Saturday, December 18, 2021 to Sunday, January 2, 2022. Offices will reopen for service on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8am.
Ohio Penal Industries & Sinclair College have partnered to provide classes to OPI workers throughout the workday. Individuals at SCI, ORW, and MaCI are piloting the program. At the completion of the courses, a Workforce Readiness Certificate will be presented to the student.
