Hon. TAYEBWA THOMAS
Bwana hon @Thomas_Tayebwa, my proposal in the next parliament is that we start a tourism week, like one we did once under @RebeccaKadagaUG.
That week, we shall engage MPs about how tourism can get their voters out of poverty. We shall have private sector members exhibit at parliement, members can have one on one discussions.
We shall identify tourism attractions across the country and educate members of parliament about how those can generate wealth.
We shall discuss the possibility of members of parliement to invest in tourism and business in general.
We also want to make sure many of members of parliement come to kasese during @RwenzoriMarathn just to see how activities like Rwenzori marathon create massive economic opportunities.
My desire to see that each leader is able to atleast employ 50 people from their investment from their earnings. That will help MPs understand how the economy actually works. Some do.
I can’t wait to engage you after the election hon @Thomas_Tayebwa soon.
Big news for healthcare in Uganda! 🇺🇬
@MulagoReferral has massively expanded its specialized services, bringing world-class, advanced medical care right to your doorstep. From organ transplants to next-gen genomics, here is how we are changing the game.
1️⃣ Advanced Surgery: We are now performing highly complex procedures including organ transplants, neurosurgery, open-heart/cardiothoracic surgery, and total hip & knee replacements. Minimal invasive (pinhole) surgery is also fully available!
2️⃣ Advanced Medicine & Pediatrics: Our doors are open for advanced neurology (brain mapping & Deep Brain Stimulation), pulmonology (EBUS-TBNA), and specialized neonatology to give premature babies the highest level of intensive care.

Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu, greetings.
After consultations with the national epidemic response task force and religious leaders, we have decided to postpone the Martyrs' Day to a later date, which will be communicated.
This decision was made because Uganda receives thousands of pilgrims annually from Eastern Congo, which is currently experiencing an Ebola outbreak. To safeguard everyone's lives, it is essential that this important event be postponed.
I encourage those who had begun their journey to return home, continue observing the precautionary measures, report anyone who is sick, and encourage those who are ill to seek medical care.
We regret any inconvenience caused, but the protection of life must come first.
Signed:
Yoweri K. Museveni
PRESIDENT
