When we Americans talk about Canada it would be only right and correct to note that we have fought and died with them in a couple of World Wars and their valor is every bit as legendary as our own. Good luck finding a better friend.
@Oshawa_Generals for the next home game, we need to have a “tough guy” alumni puck drop. May I suggest Scott Mahoney, Eric Boulton, Nathan Perrott, @JTripper21 , Greg Watson, Don Biggs, Mike Stern, Justice Dundas, Rob McQuat, Emerson Clark
Matthew Buckley joins in on the fun! 🥳
The @Oshawa_Generals breakout forward made his contributions to the Oshawa lead, adding a pair of goals in the second period 📽️
@Burrowsdrums@riverrockcasino I had a similar experience at the Pickering Casino when I went to the I Mother Earth & Tea Party show. There are rules for how many drinks they can serve you, as well as not being able to order for others. The bartender spent most of his evening explaining this…
Credit to @lordrarerock ROUND 2 FEATURING JEFF HEALEY - SRV & Double Trouble join up with Jeff Healey to perform “Look At Little Sister” live in 1987. Healey, who was born in Canada, lost his sight to cancer when he was an infant. His eyes had to be surgically removed at the time, and he was given ocular prostheses. When he was 3, he started playing guitar and developed a unique style of playing the instrument flat on his lap. His talent was clearly immense.
Since their first meeting in 1985, Healey and Vaughan had been good friends. Jeff’s pal, Cory Mihaluk convinced the then barely 19 year-old Healey to accept Albert Collins‘ invitation to jam with him and Stevie at Toronto’s legendary blues club, Albert’s Hall. Many, including Jeff saw this as a defining moment in his fledgling career. The rest is history. Enjoy
