@100daysofmellon Perhaps good business to part ways before the point the dark arts far outweigh the football/goalscoring benefits? Coaching role could be an option.
@492qbxgbd5 No idea what the situation is with Kavanagh, although the club's line is that he's injured. No future for Hammond though and Jalo a very poor loan decision - whomever's it was. #oafc
@G2TM_ Great pressure from Gunnar who'd bombed up top. Can't tell if it was his or Staunton's header. Perhaps understandably some of the natives were restless as we exited VP.
@LaticsAwayDays Don't think there's a cat in hell's chance of Scott-Morriss moving North. As an attacking force excellent, but wouldn't give you the defensive qualities of Robson.
@Aldehulme@alfcorazzin Agree with this but it's clear that Mellon doesn't fancy him. 20 mins in the last 4 games when we've needed legs and some composure on the ball. Assume he'll be moved on.
@Joe_Sideburns@Wandering_Latic But, as with other games in the recent run of losses, we don't fully utilise our bench. We could have given Newport more to worry about even with 10, but we chose to sit in and try to hold on. Even crap teams manage to find a way...against us, anyway.
A miserable watch. Abject refereeing and injuries aside, we've tried to hold on for a point and invited pressure on to ourselves. 10 men and running the two up top into the ground. Jalo a wasted loanee. #oafc
@LaticsAwayDays@zakpemberton1_ Hammond's an intelligent player, with eye for a pass and, generally, tidy on the ball. Not sure he has goals in him though. I'd hang on to him but he's not a Mellon-type midfielder. It's that MM mindset that could hamper the necessary upgrade to the CM pairing. #oafc
