@CredibleCrypto Thanks Cred- Rapid wick down to below 115 say 113-114 or would there be consolidation below? Wondering whether to set a limit bid or just wait and see how PA develops. Cheers
I am a price action maxi at heart, but it's difficult to beat a simple EMA strategy when price is trending.
This is my go-to EMA strategy, which can be used on any timeframe.
Enjoy
Fast EMAs: 33,55
Slow EMAs: 100,200 (cloud)
Example of when NOT to use it - price is ranging and the EMA cloud is switching from bearish to bullish frequently.
Just don't force anything. Wait until the setup looks too good not to take, in line with your higher timeframe bias.
Perfect example on the Daily prior to this recent move up from 105k -> 123k
Bullish Under/Over.
- Lose Fast EMAs
- Find support into green cloud
- Reclaim Fast EMAs

As with anything charts, the higher timeframes are more reliable.
You can use this to scalp on the lower timeframes, down to the 1m but signals are less trustworthy.
I personally like the 1hr and 4hr
FINAL note on the intraday. Prob spammed too much today about $CRV but just giving you my brain dump after looking at the charts, based on what we've seen over the last week as well as the local PA.
On the lower timeframe specifically, a range serves to build up liquidity on both sides. This is why the tractor beam works so well.
-> Generate liquidity either side of the range
-> Purge one side (or both)
-> Then the true move happens
So in this case, I can see price running up into local supply, closing back inside, then running the lows (into our daily fair value gap) before we then go on to make the true move towards 1.2-1.3. OR we could tag the lows first, point is we don't get to know - just that both sides might get swept from a liquidity pov before we push up again.
But the plan remains the same for new longs. Wait until we sweep into D1 FVG, look for LTF trigger, swing it up to the highs and some. And if we don't? I'm happy in spot.
Cheers and GL
