To maintain sufficient lift he had to increase airspeed 2-3 times the minimum speed at a higher AoA. And still remained controllable.

@1369Shazzbott @MCCCANM I think those are the ejection seats trusters. Small rocket engines that trust the seat and pilot through the canopy and out of the cockpit. After the seat clears the cockpit, other trusters orient the seat and propel it upwards if required. I think that is visible in the clips.
