I thought that they didn't offer retraining courses for mobile phone offences.
Looks like either three crept through or the @metpoliceuk has made a mistake on their Jan 2023 - June 2025 spreadsheet.
Another cyclist dies, another lorry is involved.
"A woman in her 20s has died"
"The lorry driver, a man in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody."
When will it end?

@MandrakeRdChaos@wandsworth Interestingly the only political accounts that have blocked me are Conservative ones. They don't like being challenged. There was an exception, the local Lib Dems blocked me then later unblocked me.
@1963Firestick@TheMrLoophole@JeremyVineOn5 You can't object to someone reporting a criminal for one offence but then treat it as acceptable for others. It's all or nothing.
@TheMrLoophole@JeremyVineOn5 Simple, it's currently against the law to use your phone whilst in charge of a motor vehicle, stationary or moving. If you don't like that, campaign to get the law changed. As far as reporting the driver, if you don't like that I presume you also don't like ...
@ChaponaBike123@CatharineHoey@JeremyVineOn5 A Β£500 fine, which is most likely the total of the actual fine, costs and Victim Surcharge, would have been imposed in Court. Had it been a fixed penalty notice the fine would have been Β£200.
I reported a taxi driver for phone use, he got six points but Β£ zero fine, costs etc.
@CooperativeBank I'm trying to transfer some money from my Current account to my NS&I account. It says that the Co-Op bank is offline. However, I can access my account via the app. Any idea when I can transfer the money to NS&I.
