Dear @andyburnham
We don't want MORE politicians wielding power all over the country, like Russia.
We want RESULTS and we don't care from where it originates.
โI will not be downloading any government digital ID onto any of my devices.
Do you trust the state with all of this? No

Good Luck everyone...
Looks like Burnham 2026 is taking us back to Labour's late 1970s.
Anyone who didn't experience that shambles please hold tight it's going to be one helluva ride.
Don't forget this free number.
116 123
Thanks for the info it will help someone.
Strangely I had one today.
Auto call:
"Suspicious activity on my account for ยฃ99 for blah blah (can't remember)
Press 1 to let it go through.๐ฏ
Press 2 to block and speak to security staff.๐ค"
I did nothing until the line went dead.
Scams can happen to anyone! I nearly got caught by one yesterday.
I was in the studio, rushed in between recording my two podcasts. I got a Whatsapp call from 'Amazon'. Brain elsewhere, man on phone asked 'had I ordered a new iPhone?' as they had reports of suspected fraud.
I said no. He said to cancel he'd sent me a six-digit code to reply to. I was feeling rushed and pressured, as the team needed to record, but finally enough of my brain turned onto the call and alarm bells started.
I said I wanted to first check that this call was legit. He got pushy and said if I didn't send the code he wouldn't stop the iPhone being sent. This felt wrong to me... why would he want to risk sending a high value item, if the customer says it wasn't ordered.
So while talking & prepping the podcast, I managed to search the telephone number and yes, it was a recognised 'Amazon scam number.'
Clearly, had I replied with the code he'd sent he would have then asked for further details and that would've started the data mine. Of course, by answering (not something I normally do to unknown numbers, but did by reflex) I did inadvertently confirm that my number is a real one, so I'll have to cope with that.
The real lesson here is how sophisticated and plausible it was. And even though I'm obviously hyper-alert to scams as my face is in half of them, catch someone at the wrong time, when they're not paying attention, and anyone can be caught out!
Watching @gbnews : Fireworks Ban + Horses.
If ๐ are so detrimental to horses how do the Met Police manage with their mounted officers.
What do the Buck Hse guards do?
Methinks the problem is management of the horses rather than ๐
The horses deserve better.
Make it so...
๐ฌ๐ง BRITAIN FIRST TO HOLD 'MARCH FOR REMIGRATION' IN TAMWORTH
Tamworth is a patriot stronghold that has been plagued by migrant hotels and even migrant rapes. Join us on Saturday 12 September at midday, Tamworth Train Station.
TBF the vast majority of the plebs wouldn't understand your textbook description and the resulting stampede to leave the UK could be more dangerous than the glorious summer we are experiencing thanks the the super el nino.
Dear fellow meteorologists, stop calling it a โheat dome.โ
Itโs an upper tropospheric ridge / warm-core high-pressure area.
Thatโs what it is by textbook definition.
Stick to that and quit using sensationalistic garbage.
Thanks.
If you want to 'stamp it out', curious choice of words a couple of days after Anne Widdecomb's murder, you could deport all the islamist rapists, murderers and criminals.
That would be a good start.
This is appalling. Hatred against Muslims has no place in our country and I am determined to stamp it out.
Well done to the police and organisers for keeping everyone safe.

๐จLabour and the Lib Dems want to scrap First Past the Post
โ where the candidate with the most votes in each area wins the seat โ
and switch to Proportional Representation, where seats match each partyโs overall vote share.
Not for fairness, but to lock Reform and Farage out of No10.
Theyโve already gamed similar rules in local elections to cling to power.
When the system no longer protects them, they change the rules.
Same old lies, same old cheats.
Pathetic.
Just had the strangest interaction with a group of lads on way back from an event, probably no more than 14-years-old, whilst waiting for a (very delayed) train to get back into central London from Windsor. Theyโd been causing a nuisance for a solid 20 mins. One walked past me and randomly told me I looked dapper (Iโm in a suit - nothing special but obvious was to him).
He ended up asking if I can show him how to tie a tie so I lent him mine and we did just that. Cut a long story short, theyโre all white working-class lads and have all dropped out of education - this absolutely breaks my heart. We do not do enough for white working-class boys at all. Iโm also baffled as to why theyโre wandering around rail stations so late at night - where are their parents? Itโs so sad man.
Anyway, after I taught the young fella how to tie a tie, they all went and sat quietly and were on their best behaviour. I didnโt even tell them off! Theyโre now on my train in the next carriage and sitting like model passengers. Itโs so sad man - all these kids need is some mentoring, a bit of direction, and someone who actually gives a toss about their wellbeing. We fail these children.
We in Brum have always been better than Manchester...
We owe ยฃ2.9b. So there!
Birmingham! Run by a PROPER Labour council who know how to Tax 'n' Spend like professionals.
Andy Burnham left Greater Manchester ยฃ1.34 billion in the red โ the highest debt of any combined authority in England, analysis shows. https://t.co/2RE01e8KeW
BBC lies again
Winston Churchill was serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom when he received the Grand-Croix of the Lรฉgion d'honneur. He was awarded France's highest honour by French President Charles de Gaulle in December 1958, during Churchill's second term as Prime Minister (1951โ1955
I'll admit I was dubious about @ZiaYusufUK but he's won me over with some good performances, today's speech about MPs security was especially good.
As always with @reform questions were taken, and answered, from ALL sides of the media.
A lesson for Burnham perhaps.
No hosepipe ban for those on benefitsโฆ
Benefits claimants have been given permission to actually ignore the ban!
Why should some families be allowed to use their hose pipes but not others?
These are clearly two-tier restrictions!
Why hasnโt Reeves invested in more reservoirs and better infrastructure?
What's the betting MPs will start claiming PiP.
Personal Independent Protection.
I know a few of them that only deserve a condom, but that's for another post.
