Each proposed change makes it clear that the owners have no intention to negotiate in good faith. A salary cap, offloading development, and limiting contracts indicate that cutting costs is paramount and that competitive balance is an afterthought. They do not care about baseball
MLB OWNERS: *donning cloaks, meeting at a round table by candlelight, drafting devilish proposals, inking them in blood*
TONY CLARK: *having an affair with his sister-in-law* Hmmmm. Is there something else I should be doing?
The Odyssey and other ancient epic poems are rooted in hundreds of years of oral tradition. I genuinely cannot think of a greater insult to the work than replacing a voiced narration with AI
seeing the replies on baseball teams’ juneteenth posts just a week after the pride hats confirms that these people are scared of anyone who is different than them and immediately turn to hatred. they are ignorant unintelligent & unserious people whose fears shouldnt be catered to
The chances of the MLBPA agreeing to this proposal (draft overhaul) are virtually zero.
Typical MLB playbook…squeeze every penny after the RSN gravy train derailed. Banning HS draftees, slashing pools & rounds all while claiming it’s ‘for development.’ They say they won’t touch MiLB jobs or affiliates…but don’t be surprised if cuts follow as a quiet clawback. This isn’t growth. It’s protectionism at the expense of the players and the game.
But what do I know?
I let it ruminate for 24 hours. A day later, I am as frustrated as I was yesterday.
MLB's new Draft proposal is a power grab dressed up as progress. It's horrible for the draft and for all players in every way.
It's a remarkably dangerous proposal

Mike Trout and Brice Harper debuted in the majors at an age where they wouldn't even be eligible for the draft yet under the new system.
An American born 19-20 year-old phenom would not be possible under the proposed system... clearly something that fans were clamoring for. (/s)
If the goal is to continually grow our game and create more interest from youth baseball, how does it makes sense to severely decrease the opportunity to get to pro ball by shortening the draft by another 8 rounds? @MLB@MLBPA
Baseball America Editor-in-Chief J.J. Cooper on the latest MLB CBA proposal that would end high school draftees:
"Eliminating draft eligibility for high school players would also remove the quickest and most lucrative path to the majors for the best draft-eligible players in the game... Mike Trout debuted at 19 years old and, a year later, finished second in MVP voting. Alex Rodriguez, Mickey Mantle, Ken Griffey Jr., Bryce Harper and Johnny Bench all debuted as teenagers and quickly became stars."

Andrew has had his account for 18 years and tweeted about baseball 12 times. 9 of them were crying about pride night. I am sure baseball is okay with you leaving.
The problem with the OT is that it’s limited by technology from the time. Luke is the most powerful Jedi of all time, and the only Jedi to have ever had potential at/above his level is Anakin.
This is a canon fact, regardless of how characters are depicted in other media.
