The NLC has not even gone to the negotiation table with the FG on the subsidy removal. Their first point of call is to embark on nationwide strike. Shouldn't strike be the last resort after all other mediums or resolution have failed?

I urged Nigeria to celebrate Dangote Refinery, and some Nigerians got angry and asked why should the government or themselves celebrate a private enterprise. First of all, the Nigerian government owns a stake in Dangote Refinery. That means you own a stake too. But even if that was not the case, why would we not celebrate progress? Some days ago, we celebrated an UPCOMING $2 billion airport in Rwanda. But we don't want to celebrate a $19 billion refinery in Nigeria. The same way we pooh-poohed the $25 billion Lekki Free Trade Zone. But if it is terrible news, we will not wait to trend it. Listen, bad things always happen to people who prefer to hear bad things about others!
