@ericflipshouses I’m down for the convo but I don’t believe it’s taxed the same way. Taxed yes, but not the same percentage as if they were to just give him the M’s
@ericflipshouses All taxes aren’t created equal lol. Just because it says it’s taxes, doesn’t mean it’s taxed like a normal 1099. It’s a capital gain tax, meaning he’ll pay I think 20% once ( not then 40% annually)
@ericflipshouses That Bitcoin isn’t earned income though. He never takes possession of that money. Also as the market grows and changes, what percentage of it would he pay taxes on?
@ericflipshouses He won’t have to pay taxes on it because it’s not earned income. It’s like when you invest into your 401k. So essentially that 6.5 mil in Bitcoin if he had gotten cash and bought it would be about 40% less.
