you wake up and reach for your phone before your eyes focus. scroll through a hundred thoughts that aren’t yours until your own voice sounds like someone you used to know and by noon you’ve consumed more information than your grandparents did in a year but can’t name a single thing that actually moved you. the feed keeps serving up other people’s lives and you keep swallowing them whole, mistaking the fullness for satisfaction when really you’re just bloated on nothing. you’ve become a processing unit instead of a person and the loneliest part is how normal it feels.
@mystinaura I feel so honored to have inspired you somehow
cuz talking to you about art once also inspired me!
I hope you have an amazing 2026 full of art and creativity :)
@NovusTermina I've always been curious about snow
how it looks directly, how it feels in contact, the general atmosphere
it doesn't snow where I live, except for the south of the country
why you don't like it anymore?
master your craft so completely that it becomes your language. not the language you speak to impress others, but the language you think in. where the work isn’t separate from you, isn’t something you do, but something you are. where your hands know before your mind does. where you’ve repeated the fundamentals so many times they’ve dissolved into instinct.
it’s not just talent. it’s mind and body numbing devotion. it’s showing up when inspiration left. it’s the thousand hours nobody saw that make the one hour everybody wants.
excellence is a religion.
and the only prayer that matters is practice.
escapism is a dangerous thing
in the long term, it's better to avoid engaging with media as a way to escape your reality.
instead try to engage with the ones that can help you manage reality.
seeing life through different lenses and influencing your way of living it positively.
be the most yourself you can be
the most human, raw, unfiltered, real, unpredictable, personal, spontaneous, shameless
and let it flow through your art, whatever it is, while embracing a constant state of change
Ai existence made me way less picky to human made art. Now I like almost everything I see when I know that it’s created by a real person who actually tried. It became way more precious and respectful. Please doodle, sketch, paint, sculpt. You all are incredible
