@BernieBurnso@Hkarbo@DreyfusJames I'm nearly that old, with a bad knee, doing the stairs is good physiotherapy, the lift doesn't give that, BUT not without the handrail - ideally on the side of the weakness.
That said simple courtesy could have worked that much out
