Came home and cried because I barely got to see my little one before his bedtime.
Played with him a little, put him to bed, ate dinner
Then worked from home 7:45-11:15.
I’m just… exhausted. Emotionally worn out. And my to do list just gets longer.

I love love love my students! And my school and coworkers. But also, Augusts are hard. SPED is hard. Teaching is hard. Paperwork and politics and all the mountains of requirements are hard. Lack of sleep and hormones and leaving my baby after summer are also hard.
