CHARGED | We have charged #Liverpool man Marc Noonan, 26, of Fenwick St with 4 counts of rape of a girl aged 13-15.
He will appear later this month in Liverpool Crown Court.

I wear my NotMyShame ribbon with pride, and because I know that being abused as a child took precious years away from me. Years I’ll never get back, years that hurt and confused me…a confusion that created uncertainty for me as I grew up. Years that led me to drink / drug addictions and near death experiences. Years that made me take a cold look at what was happening to me; from maladaptive daydreaming to dissociation to OCD to paranoia to delayed maturity to eating disorders, attempted suicide -> all things I now recognise as trauma responses, not insanity…years that made me feel like a parasite 🦠 years that had me protecting and caring for my abusers….years that I do not wish on any child.

I fight on every day because I know that being raped, abandoned and groomed as a child is not a journey I wish any beautiful child to take…
