@kokumots@taisho__ That is where piracy rises, not for an evil desire to consume content for free.
The inability to buy is the root of the issue, not a sense of denial to pay.
@kokumots@taisho__ It's not an issue you encounter, since the content is original in japanese. A lot of companies do not see any reason to spend money to translate and publish their work for a small fraction of the community. But that small part can't consume it if they don't.
Isn't it the same here, though? Getting someone who doesn't live in our reality to understand why piracy is such a widespread practice is just as difficult, since you don't even begin to grasp the issue from where you stand.
I think this discussion only exists because there are people out there who compare pirating games you CAN'T BUY to rape and murder.
Is your reality just that far apart from ours?
How would your mother feel if she saw this tweet? Would she be proud of a child like this?
@MUKIDEZA2 They aren't doing you any favors, they pay you because you do work, If you didn't work they wouldn't pay you. It's fine to be grateful if you like the people you work with, but you have no moral duty to do so. If you want to quit, no one has the right to stop you.
We rely on piracy because other brazilians are the only people that care enough to learn the other person's language and translate it, because they want other people to be able to appreciate art too. Even if they don't have money.
Even then, we buy it when it is available. But it simply isn't most of the time.
If people refuse to sell it to us, then unsurprisingly, we can't buy it.
Import it from japan? I don't speak japanese. Most manga don't have a Portuguese translation.
@ThanhPhamNgoc8@MogukoMofu@not_oayo Dude essentially murder-suicides himself and the bad guy. For pretty much no reason, while acting like it's the only choice he has.
