THE WRITTEN COMMITMENTS ROBLOX AND VNG NEVER EXECUTE

Every locked-out user has been given the same reassurances in writing over the past months. Automatic detection. Data protections. Human review paths. Support response times. Compensation delivery.

None of them execute.

Five documented broken commitments, each verified across multiple users, each in writing, each traceable to Roblox or VNG official communications:

COMMITMENT 1: "Roblox - VNG will automatically detect and update your regional location."

Verified across 5+ users receiving this exact language from Roblox VNG support over the past months. Most recently confirmed in writing this week by a Vietnamese user who received the identical template. Zero cases where automatic detection was actually performed. Region locks remain intact months after the commitment.

COMMITMENT 2: VNG Play Store listing declares "No data collected."

Full data processing is observable in the application — account routing, behavioral tracking, purchase flow, session state. The Play Store declaration is a false representation to Google's data safety requirements and to every user who checked the listing before downloading.

COMMITMENT 3: Human review escalation path.

Roblox support publicly represents that escalations move to human review when automated responses do not resolve the issue. In practice, human review only surfaces through non-documented bypass routes — chatbot exploitation via the mobile Account:Hacked flow, or consumer rights framing that forces support into legal-review territory. Users following the documented path never reach human review.

COMMITMENT 4: VNG support SLA of 8:00 to 20:00 GMT+7.

Currently under real-time test. A verified ID user in the coalition submitted a bug report at 11:05 AM Vietnam time on July 4. VNG's stated support window closes at 20:00. Zero response 48+ hours later, six user-side reminders ignored, mass issue classification confirmed by the user based on peer reports of the same silence. Documented business hours failure across multiple simultaneous cases.

COMMITMENT 5: "Robux compensation has been credited to your account."

Roblox stated in writing to a Vietnamese user this week that Robux compensation for a Community Guidelines removal had been credited. The compensation was never delivered. The user is VNG-locked with no spending verification access, no dispute mechanism, and only automated Vietnamese-language ticket acknowledgment from Roblox-VNG support pipeline (ticket 175207808 on record).

Each commitment above is documented in writing, sourced to Roblox or VNG official communications, and verified across independent users.

For regulators, each represents a distinct material misrepresentation of service capability or delivery.

For consumer protection authorities, each represents documented deception about the terms and quality of service.

For attorneys, five broken commitments verified across independent users is a pattern, not an isolated failure. Pattern equals intent.

For every user who was told "please be patient, the system will update automatically" — the system was never going to update. The commitment was the response. The execution was never intended.

In the 72 hours since documentation began, affected users across multiple jurisdictions have independently filed formal complaints against Roblox Corporation regarding the VNG forced-migration policy.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Each filing is an independent legal record. None were coordinated by Roblox Support. All were filed after refusal.

The FTC's Consumer Sentinel database is accessible to federal and state law enforcement across the United States. California AG filings against Roblox Corporation (headquartered in San Mateo, CA) fall under direct state jurisdiction. BBB filings appear permanently on the company's public profile.

Independent complaints from separate victims across separate countries — all filed within a single week over identical written policy — is a pattern regulators recognize.

Earlier today, Roblox Customer Support issued their formal written refusal on my case:

"We are not able to process your request as your Roblox account is subject to terms and conditions in Vietnam. You will need to create a new account."
