There’s a difference between a team that needs Kyrie and a team that becomes a straight-up powerhouse with Kyrie.

Miami needs Kyrie because if you’re walking into the playoffs with Davion Mitchell as your starting point guard, your offense can get exposed fast. Toronto with Kyrie is different that’s adding an elite shot creator, closer and secondary playmaker to an already loaded group. That wouldn’t just fill a hole, it would completely change the ceiling of the team.
