Thanks to all of the folks that supported @4thgenfund@mplsfoundation by buying a Vietnamese Crepe Meal Kit for Graze 4 Good so you could make your own Banh Xeo at home. All of the proceeds from G4G go towards funding grants for NPOs that support economic justice.
So excited that our Director of Collective Giving, Sara Lueben, had a chance to join Angela Davis on Minnesota Public Radio to talk about the growing popularity of giving circles and programs like Fourth Generation. Don't miss this great conversation!
Listen to how Minnesotans are pooling their money together to maximize the impact of charitable giving. I talked to @bothao@CAALMN & Sara Lueben @mplsfoundation about philanthropy and "giving circles" @MPRnews. And @cfarrellecon updated us on the economy. https://t.co/sckZMtOkLB

I’m going to jack the whole Give To The Max day idea today. I didn’t ask permission and I know its proprietary, but I’m sure the folks over there wont mind. – I want to focus a good solid 24 hours straight on giving to a particular cause.
A message from Supt. Graff:
"I wanted to share with you that tonight in a special meeting, the Board of Education unanimously approved its resolution to immediately terminate our contract with the Minneapolis Police Department, which provides us w/ our School Resource Officers."
This is a good start. I hope it leads somewhere. I want to know how the @mnhumanrights will include community members directly impacted by MPD's legacy of violence.
George Floyd died from actions by Minneapolis police. But in a two page letter to members, Federation Pres Bob Kroll does not even meantion it. Wonder why people are angry?! We have some very courageous cops but you must now stand up to your leader jeopardizing all our safety.
