An important sign of maturity is understanding that admitting you were wrong is a sign of strength, not weakness; hate political mess unless have to share truth
@lsferguson H1b is not the problem. The hiring managers and the recruiters are. They suppose to hire USA people first and only after could not find can they allow to hire H1b. But recruiters declined your applications first, the hiring managers fail the rest later and only keep who they want
@LayoffAI that is true, i spent more and more time looking for jobs with more experience i have; some companies like Databricks recruiters just told me: you are older than other applicants
@naqamel simply ban H1b might not solve the real problem. my boss asked me to scale up team in Indian; i asked why not hire in US and Canada; then multiple executive told me indian has better talents. No h1b but still not increasing US jobs.
@Summithi2@RepThomasMassie when claiming unfair trade, think about those Chinese STEM graduates working 16 hours a day 7 days a week (more than 100 hours a week) while US work less than 40 hours a week. They have 10 times more engineering graduates and doubled the working hours for many years. so they won
@Sriash99 they all know how to protect themselves; at that condition, the best way is try to jump and lean/flip a little; if there was contact the rotation will protect them; if you just try to be those American football players, they will either break bones or brain damaged after retire
@Footy_VAR so in your opinion a goal keeper will never won golden ball? ( i know there is one related prize for goal keeper but image one so damn good and inspiring to the team...)
