We need to reach a point where TV meteorologists across the country are discussing #climate change openly and honestly and helping change minds. Urge your TV meteorologist to speak up by visiting https://t.co/zICvwg5zxL and sending a quick message. A few emails can go a long way!
Recent highly deadly, raging wildfires are part of summer — but it's all being made worse by human-caused climate change, scientists say. https://t.co/I6gvXIEqmw (1/5)
I sure hope no one on social media or in the traditional media sugarcoats the thermonuclear meltdown Trump is having. He’s indulging in a fair amount of violent talk, paranoid fantasies, and promises of retribution. Please no “candidates trade barbs in final hours.”
This is truly wild. The Washington Post and New York Times both have the Biden gaffe as their top stories (the NYT has *two* stories about it on their home page) and not a single mention of Johnson saying they’ll repeal the ACA or a Trump official saying they’ll pull vaccines.
Now that the world’s richest man has fully thrown in with America’s most dishonest politician, it’s clear this election is about one thing only: can our imperfect democracy stand up to this wave of money and lies?
If you care, then get to work
NBC6's @JohnMoralesTV is the longest tenured TV meteorologist in south Florida. When he gets this serious, this emotional, on the air, viewers pay attention: https://t.co/iiECZ8KaHx
I wrote about the power of climate feedbacks for @NewYorker. The piece came out today, just as #Hurricane Milton became a Category 5 storm. https://t.co/lrgyqy9eqc
@drvolts I don’t understand why trump and republicans are never pressed for details or evidence? Vague accusations aren’t enough, Which precincts were flipped, who were the individuals involved, etc.
@TrumpsTaxes@drvolts That’s 532,800 American heroes who are about to find out that no matter how many times you opt out of those fundraising texts they never quite stop
If you’re a “senior Democrat” that feels this way, you should absolutely retire and make space for true leadership that refuses to resign themselves to fascism.
This kind of leadership is functionally useless to the American people. Retire.
"But what has Biden actually done?"

I understand why people feel a kind of inescpable sense of pervasive doom about the world, but as someone who has covered climate for 20 years, these past two years have been more promising than anything we've ever seen. There actually is some light where there wasn't before.
