@chris_corb75697@PaulGoldEagle Ballet harvesting is the worst. OK, it's not as bad as tap planting or modern rotating or, particularly, ballroom fertilizing, but it's still pretty bad.
@podoffame He's had one inner circle great kind of season (his first MVP year), then another monster season with the bat (coupled with indifferent defense in right).
He's on a clear HoF path, but it's not unreasonable to say he's only had one truly elite season.
Bryce Harper allegedly had one elite season. I am assuming he is referring to 2015, when Bryce Harper won his first MVP award. That would leave out:
2021- Won MVP, led NL in 2B, SLG, OPS, and OPS+
2020- Led NL in Walks, 158 OPS+
2018- Led NL in Walks (130!), 34 HR
2017- 1.008 OPS, 156 OPS+, 29 HR
Which two of these four is considered very good and which two of these is considered average?
@notgaetti Probably not for the Angels. But if he's healthy enough to play the outfield, I don't see any reason to think this will be more taxing than left or right.
@Travis_Sawchik The box on the screen has been the worst development for baseball watching. It turns every game (and every postgame) into a conversation about the accuracy of the home plate ump (complete with incessant whining).
@GlobeScotLehigh@JustinWStapley And passing legislation that you specifically ran on doesn't make you polarizing. It's the whole point.
Trump's not polarizing because of the TCJA.
@Brett_A_Taylor The box was the worst development in baseball watching in my lifetime. It turned every game into neverending festival of whining about the strike zone, even as umps were getting closer and closer to calling the desired rulebook zone.
@podoffame It has to be Boston. The fact the city has an inner, inner circle guy from each of the four major NA team sports sets it apart from everywhere else.
@Roger774501171 First, I would ban anyone from calling this a ghost runner, as that's an affront to the good name of the noble ghost runner. This is a zombie runner.
Then, I would get rid of the zombie runner.
@Mikeb1961sports@Roger1stCFalls One of just two players to play in a World Series and a Final Four. The other, Tim Stoddard, also went to East Chicago Washington.
