Dear Reader, it’s been too long! Owner of a unit at 52 River wants to put a deck on an existing garage. @CityOfBoston@ISDBoston@BostonPlans rejects his plan, makes him pay again, makes him engage the neighbors & go before every assoc & tells him the property is NOT as of right
Two and a half years for a curb cut. The system is broken and does not support the residents.
You know who doesn’t have to go through this process…developers! https://t.co/DwCOlJiXJc
Makes us wonder what relationships our developer had that they were able to move so swiftly. @SecMartyWalsh
This fight near Shawmut Station doesn’t bode well for easing Boston’s housing shortage https://t.co/g5k2TlwQCq
Emergency at 58 River - worker in trench - taken out by ambulance. News helicopters overhead. I guess if the 100’s of complaints about unsafe working conditions, calls to @BOS311 & @ISDBoston aren’t enough, this is what happens. @ONS_Mattapan@MayorWu
Hope worker recovers!
Tonights representatives of #elected officials told us that we should “change the zoning code,” “eliminate as of right permits” and speak to the @CityOfBoston and @BOSCityCouncil reps who failed to show up. Yet they had no plan on how to do these things. What a joke. @MayorWu
