This video is almost too much to watch. Those rescuers pulling a tiny, mud-covered body from the wreckage… that was someone’s child. A little life that ended in seconds under a wall of water and debris.

The families still waiting for news tonight must be living through the worst hours of their lives. Nature doesn’t care how small or innocent you are.

Rest easy, little one. I hope they find every missing person and bring them home.

A massive mudslide struck Gyirong Port on the China-Nepal border, with CCTV footage showing a wall of debris slamming through the crossing in seconds, tossing vehicles and buses.

Nepal reports at least 8-16 dead with hundreds of travelers listed as missing, including 291 foreigners.

Roads, power, and communications on the Chinese side were cut.

President Xi ordered all-out search efforts.

About 430 MW of hydropower capacity, roughly 12% of Nepal's total, was affected.

Watching the destruction in Rasuwa is deeply painful. 💔

In just moments, a raging river has left behind unimaginable damage and uncertainty for families in Timure, Syabrubesi and surrounding areas.

Praying for everyone affected and for the safety of those still in vulnerable areas. 🙌🏼
