If Ifá survived centuries of slavery, colonialism, missionary hostility, criminalisation and ridicule…
What exactly did the people preserving it see that made them refuse to let it die?
I’m genuinely curious.
Because traditions do not survive that much pressure for hundreds of years simply because “people were stupid.”

Stand tall. Dont crack. Endure. You can die tomorrow. Today you do the only thing you can do. You fight. You rage on. You do what you came to do. You finish what you started. No matter how much it costs. How long it takes. Or how much it hurts. Because you said you would.
PLEASE DON'T ever trade your authenticity for approval. NEVER ever associate yourself with people who move cowardly through gossip, manipulation, betrayal, wickedness, avoiding accountability and fake loyalty. Let people dislike you.
The problem with capitalism is that if you aren't born into wealth, your only capital is your labor. So automatically, your human body, is now a commodity that you must sell, and if you can't sell it for enough, you won't be able to care for it and will lose your capital.
Imagine someone attacking you over a version of you that only exists in their head. They created a whole false narrative about you, got angry at their own imagination, and even recruit others to come up against you over a story they created. Then had the nerve to call you crazy. The projection is wild. 😂
A poor man can’t fake being rich for long, but a rich man can fake being poor forever.
Meaning, wealth can be hidden much easier than poverty can be disguised.
