Obama flying into Detroit to rescue Abdul El-Sayed's campaign, whose own sister-in-law was put on a terror watchlist by Obama's FBI, makes a great headline. But that hypocrisy is just the surface. If you want to know who this DSA radical really is, look at the red flags he’s tried to bury.

His former head of security, Jordan Domingue, who turned down hush money from El-Sayed’s campaign so he could talk, warned that this movement isn't just progressive politics. He called it an insurgency. And it doesn't end there. Back in 2012, El-Sayed personally signed an open letter urging Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood to "purge the media and the police."

That's the real Abdul El-Sayed and I hope Michigan takes notice before it's too late.

@matthewmaddock I remember when this information was first made public about 20 years ago. My then Director was livid. She was adamant that her salary was not the public’s business to know. I often reminder her that I was a taxpayer first and foremost and SoM civil servant secondarily.

@ProphetPX @DonnieDetroit19 Agreed. My background includes going to parts vendors of GM when there were quality issues. I’ve been in facilities that employed literally one guy with a small stamping press in his garage to factories employing thousands of workers. They’re all gone now.

@DonnieDetroit19 Just got back from the tip of the thumb. Dozens of Roger sign along M-25 and one for Abdul. 4 years ago this same stretch of highway was openly supporting Whitmer. The pride may not be here this time around but don’t count out the support for anyone but Roger’s on Election Day.
