@PBalian11@Quizmania0 Wow, great explanation!
After reading it 4 times, Google, Grok, and awakening long-dormant brain cells, I think I understand.
As long as C is on the circle (length of BC does not change) then ACD will always be 33 (for this example)?
@Infinite_Logiz Not enough information is given.
Are we assuming that the bottom angles are right angles?
Because any good mathematician knows you cannot assume.
This diagram needs more info.
@soran0312_ The answer is 40
Add up 22 + 25 + 33 = 80
There's two of each shape in those.
But one of each shape in the final.
So 80 divided by 2 is 40.
@Quizmania0 The diagram is wrong.
It is an impossible triangle.
The large triangle has angles of 80 - 80 - 60, which add to 220.
This question is a FAIL.
@josephmpotter@IQTestBrain If a = +2, b cannot be 10. It must be 6.
If a = -2 , b cannot be 6. It must be 10.
So 8 is not a possible answer.
Also, your signs are wrong. A is either (-4) or (-12).
