They stole his family's home and threw them out into destitution and for some reason are furious that he doesn't like the people who destroyed his and his family's lives.
Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon says she was fired by her agency and banned from Hollywood for speaking up in support of Palestine:
“I was fired by my agency, specifically for marching and speaking out about Gaza, for asking for a ceasefire. It became impossible for me to even be on television. […] I couldn’t do any major film — anything connected with Hollywood. I found agents ultimately in England and Italy and I worked there. This Italian director that just hired me — he was told not to hire me. He didn’t listen, but they had that conversation. So, right now I specialize in tiny films with directors who have never directed, independent films and films that are in Europe. That’s the main reason I haven’t been working as much.”
Male surgeons are literally removing women’s organs while the medical system ignores endometriosis. There’s five times more research on erectile dysfunction than on endometriosis. Women are treated as incubators, told to “just get pregnant” as a so-called cure, they even researched about effect of endometriosis on men’s sexual satisfaction instead of women’s suffering. Female mice are excluded from research because their hormones are “too unpredictable,” leaving many female-specific diseases understudied. Painful periods are normalized from childhood, and it often takes 7–10 years to get a proper diagnosis. Women are forced to choose between living with constant pain labelled as part of being a woman. Endometriosis isn’t a “period problem”….it affects lungs, brain, diaphragm, and almost every major organ, yet the medical system still dismisses it as a minor female issue.
My classmate was raped on her way back home from university and got pregnant, but couldn’t get an abortion due to the laws. She had to drop out of university where she was studying medicine. Because of pregnancy and childbirth expenses, she couldn’t continue her studies, left college, started working at a coffee shop, lost the fun of her early twenties, and lost the chance to attend international medical conferences she once dreamt of… all just to give birth to a child she never wanted.
People say, “What if the baby you abort grows up and cures cancer?”
Okay — but what if the 19-year-old you deny an abortion to grows up and cures cancer?
Now she can’t afford to get an education. Instead, she has to take care of a baby. What about her? An actual living human being???
“Abortion ends potential life”… So do property disputes, war, and genocide. You only seem to care about lives when women don’t give birth to them.
