"You have to be okay not being liked.
Not at the expense of an individual, but what's right and best for the team always comes first."
Leadership means making the decision the team needs not the one everyone likes.
Everyone wants to start a travel baseball team. That’s the problem. Too many teams. Too many average rosters. Too many kids told they’re “elite.” Fewer, stronger teams would develop players a whole lot better.
Proud of these young ladies for the great season they had. Your hard work & determination will forever be remembered in moving this program forward. Seniors, thank you for leading the way and we will miss you!! ❤️ We appreciate all the support from the community along the way.
Upperclassmen: The impact you make on your program goes beyond wins and losses. 10-year old kids are watching and emulating you. Freshmen and Sophomores are learning how to practice and compete daily by you. You are changing the future for better or for worse. Leave your legacy!
Body language is a form of communication. Communication is an important skill. We’re all human which involves emotion, but we can practice how we can control & express our emotions. Showing emotion is ok, but learning to do it in the right way is essential for maturity & growth!
Use the game to teach your players discipline, trust, honesty, respect & the value of hard work. Show them you care about more than their performance. They’ll remember it for a lifetime & do the same for their kids later. Lessons for a lifetime. THAT is the true gift of coaching!
Cole Leonhart is a great batter with a disciplined approach at the plate and a leader on this team. He led off the Irish throughout the season and also led the team in walks and stolen bases. We will miss Cole and wish him luck at Three Rivers. #HeGone😫
Congratulations to our players on their All-State selection!!
Ben Smith- Pitcher 1st Team

Cole Leonhart- Infield 1st Team
Ben Ruter- Outfield 2nd Team
Amazing job guys! Proud of all of our players!
Kids today grow up in a world of constant distraction & instant gratification.
Kids who devote their time & energy to athletics when the reward for their hard work is often delayed for days, months or years should be commended!
