@wasdhjklxyz@LundukeJournal Everything IS in fact political though. You can predict almost everything about someone based on a few foundational beliefs and those foundational beliefs are codified by political parties.
@egorFiNE@LundukeJournal I’m willing to bet his opinion is based partly on the literal theft of content the models use to train on and how that model is then sold back to you for profit. The AI companies pay fines and legal settlements for this behavior but are still allowed to profit from theft.
@str0ngl4nd@LundukeJournal Likely something to do with the way the models are created by ingesting content (licensed and pirated) and the companies creating them and their association with governments and private corporations.
@exponential_dan@NetworkChuck The “state” should have no legal authority over marriage as it is a religious union and in the USA the state regulating it in any way should be a violation of the 1st Amendment at a minimum. In addition the biblical ideal of marriage is between a man and a woman as God desired.
@ug0tpwn3d@kmcnam1 What looks like homosexuality in animals is easily explained by dominance behaviors exhibited in animals that form group associations. Female dogs commonly mount males and other female dogs. It’s not a sexual act.
@beck3k_@TracketPacer You were made in the image of God and designed to worship that God. Everything humanity has done to revolt against that fundamental truth has caused misery and destruction because of man’s sinful and destructive nature. Your “ick” is not because of God. It’s because of mankind.
@Michael_Voris@howertonjosh@jason_howerton The Bible is pretty clear about the dead and being in contact with it and idolatry. It’s a large leap to parading statues around with bones of the dead and placing crowns in their heads…
@Michael_Voris@howertonjosh@jason_howerton That’s like saying you cannot do an analysis of why homosexuality is a sin without a homosexual to explain the act to you…100% a false premise.
@Andrath1975@nyanotech@encrypted_past@NetworkChuck Why are you defending an idea that every major corporation has abused and security researchers have used to profit from? There is no ethical or moral obligation to take part in that system. You’ve endorsed and been propagandized by a false dichotomy
@human4christ@sola_chad It’s like the Matrix movie. We live in a world that defines our reality so the decisions we make are entirely based on those rules. Is it free will if your choices are essentially false choices you lack understanding to even be making? It’s intriguing to me yet panic inducing.
@human4christ@sola_chad I’m not a Calvinist, just being open about the thoughts I have about the reality we live in. I’m not suggesting God caused our choices per se but he does know everything because he exists outside of time.
@human4christ@sola_chad I don’t think we have free will though. Our story is already written and God already knows it. So to us we might believe we have free will but I don’t see it. It’s like reading a book and the characters having the ability to change the story that’s already written but they can’t.
@human4christ@sola_chad I heard this describe once saved always saved as God keeping his promise. If you were promised salvation for believing in him then if you fall away it would seem like Gods not upholding his promise as he knows we will sin even after we proclaim him. I hope I don’t have to wonder!
@procroate@CHICAGOHAND12@ClearlyReformed@RevKevDeYoung I don't find any "reaching" as the referenced passages are clear about it. I encourage you to read them.
"I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean" Ezekial 36:25
"..to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.." Ephesians 5:26
@procroate@CHICAGOHAND12@ClearlyReformed@RevKevDeYoung This isn’t some argument or debate that needs to be won. The Bible doesn’t contradict itself and my study Bible says that water in John 3:5 refers to spiritual cleansing not baptism. If it is a concern that is causing spiritual issues then I suggest praying about it.
@procroate@CHICAGOHAND12@ClearlyReformed@RevKevDeYoung I disagree based on Ephesians 2:8-11 and Romans 10:9 make it quite clear that only faith and no works will gain your salvation and entry into the Kingdom of Heaven.
